Meals on Wheels is a very special program that delivers a hot meal to homebound, frail seniors 251 days out of the year. Each day, Senior Services prepares 150-180 meals (more than 40,000 a year) to be delivered to our eight pick-up sites. More than 400 volunteers not only make sure that a hot, nutritious meal is served, but also that each client is made to feel special with personal visits. All clients are encouraged and given the opportunity to make a donation, but no person is turned away because of inability to pay.

The success of Meals on Wheels depends on grants and private donations. These donations allow Cobb Senior Services to offer therapeutic meals for clients with special needs provide holiday treats and update equipment.

It is now very easy to make a tax deductible donation to this worthwhile service. Simply select the amount, add it to your basket, then click the “checkout” option to complete the transaction. You will receive an e-mail confirmation in minutes.

You can also designate your donation to be made in honor or in memory of someone or as a gift in someone’s name. Just make note in the comments box as you complete ypur order.
